Enhanced Lockfast Drain Rod Set

Apparently well made rods with smooth locking facility. Buying rods without this ability is a false economy, from experience don't do it. On a deeper man hole the 19mm rod diameter is a much more flexible option. I have used them twice already as our road's drainage system is pre WW2 and therefore combined and more likely to back up in the recent dry weather, carrying waste it was not designed to cope with.

Nothing much to complain about with this kit. Everything necessary is included to tackle most household drain problems, except for the optional rotating handle, and that is really essential for dealing with root intrusion, plus the optional spanner to tighten the rod lock-nuts, if you don't already have one. Can't complain about the price at all, and we saved several hundred pounds dealing with the blocked drain ourselves against the silly prices we were being quoted by the major drain service providers. Now that the drain problem is solved the rods and accessories are neatly stored away in the carry-bag at the back of the shed should we need them again. Considering the problems caused by the Covid-19 lockdown the fast despatch and next-day delivery by Wardsflex was pretty amazing.

Excellent quality equipment. Connected together easily and strongly. The drain was full of knotted roots for about 10metres and within a short time pulled through the 4 inch pipe in one long length. Friends can't believe the size and length which resembles a large snake. I'd already paid to have the pipe HP water blasted for £180 which didn't work. Good value for money and the kit should last a lifetime.

Simple to use, sturdy and well made, I am an amateur but I felt like a pro.
