Description
Universal Rod Fitting Packer Bracket complete with Rope Eye.
Used to replace the existing rope eye only bracket as fitted as standard on most packers. This then allows rods to be used to insert and position the packer giving the user more control.
Simple to fit, just remove the existing air line coupling, exchange the brackets, then refit the air line coupling with some PTFE tape or thread sealing paste.

Not as easy as it looks
The loctite they use is not a joke. Getting the old rope eye off is just as hard as getting the new one on with ptfe around the threads of the bit that goes inside the packer. 2 man job with one man spinning the packer an someone holding the nut with spanner or grips unless your going to use air push rods prepare yourself for a workout! Note from Wardsflex - we find it a fairly simple change over with the Pipe Doctor packers here in the warehouse, but not all packers are the same we are well aware.
